What to expect as you plan to build
Can't Attend a face to face Meeting?
We understand your schedules are busy! We are happy to schedule a time to connect via Zoom to discuss your goals.
Step 1 to Build
Interview your future Design/Build Team and learn if they are the right fit for you.
Step 2
Begin working on the demo of your current site whether through a private contractor or FEMA with your Design/Build Team to ensure you are clearing the essentials for a successful build.
Step 3
Begin your design process which entails working through the details of construction drawings, interior designs and elevations. Code required documentation for construction. Site planning, engineering, and surveying.
Step 4
Establish your costs to construct. We are here to collaborate with your Insurance company and/or lender. Do you need a lender? If so, we have years of experience providing guidance if needed.
Step 5
Submit your home plans for construction permits and close on financing as needed.
Step 6
Construction commences. You can expect this phase to take 12-15 months depending on the level of detail and finishes for your home
Step 7
Inspections and final finishes to get your home ready for you to move in.
Step 8
Final walk through and our favorite part, handing you the keys to your new home!
